Stovax log burners have many standout features, the most obvious of which is their craftsmanship. Many Stovax log burners are made using cast iron, a material known for its excellent heat diffusion and strength.

Cast iron can be sculpted into different shapes and made thicker in areas that require greater support, allowing for intricate design possibilities. With a Stovax stove, you get the look and feel of an authentic fireplace with the reassurance of durable construction.

History of Stovax

In 1981, Stovax Stoves embarked on a mission to design, manufacture and distribute top-tier wood-burning stoves to customers in Exeter. Their endeavour quickly set the stage for the company’s worldwide growth. By 1988, Stovax diversified its offerings to include gas-fired versions of its best-selling stoves. Expanding their product line led to the creation of Gazco Ltd, a sister company focused entirely on developing new products. This strategic move allowed Stovax and Gazco Fires to collaborate, launching both companies’ reputations as leading figures in Europe’s fireplace manufacturing sector.

In 2006, Stovax acquired Yeoman, a brand renowned for its rustic wood-burning stoves. Going forward, customers could purchase state-of-the-art Stovax wood burners with the rural charm of Yeoman's designs. Today, their products reach an international market. Stovax stoves looks to the future by embracing wood as a sustainable, renewable, and carbon-neutral energy source. Each Stovax wood-burning stove is highly efficient and designed as a ‘green’ solution to home heating. Stovax’s market presence cannot be understated, and in 2024, the company is still growing!

Efficient and Eco-Friendly

Owning a Stovax wood-burning stove is about more than just aesthetics: their multi-fuel models offer flexibility! By accommodating different types of fuel, from wood and smokeless coal to peat and turf, users can choose what to burn based on preference and availability. Products in Stovax’s Stockton range are exemplary of the company’s design efficiency. Many Stockton models are DEFRA-approved stoves, making them suitable for smoke-controlled areas.

Worldwide customers will surely appreciate Stovax’s efforts to comply with environmental standards. Shopping for stoves in the Stockton range will afford homeowners in densely populated cities greater, more affordable heating options. Air quality is a collective concern, so investing in these government-approved fires will take us one step closer to a greener planet. Despite being eco-friendly, Stovax stoves don’t compromise eco-friendliness for efficiency. Tightly sealed inside each stove is the company's ingenious Clean Burn System. This sophisticated technology operates through a triple-air system and is designed to fine-tune the combustion process.

By ensuring more complete combustion, the Clean Burn System reduces particulate matter and unburnt hydrocarbon emissions. Burning off these combustible gases makes Stovax Stoves all the more efficient, economical, and eco-friendly. But how do you keep your Stovax log burner clean? Some models are equipped with an Air Wash System, which uses a continuous flow of air to keep your stove’s glass clean. For no extra cost, your stove cleans itself. You’ll have a clear, unobstructed view of Stovax Stoves’ radiant flames day or night. While primarily designed for maintaining clear glass, the Airwash system also supports efficient burning by allowing you to better manage your fire.
